studio origin story

My dad, Jehangir, at his pithi in 1972. The studio’s namesake. I know he’d be all in, naming tax benefits, calling with some perfectly timed fact, always ready to get in the weeds with me, just waiting for the ask.

I’m building slowly, through word of mouth, trust, and time. If you’re here, you’re already part of that. And I’m so grateful!

Right now, I’m offering strategic consulting for businesses and working 1:1 with people sitting inside loops they’re ready to let go of.

This studio is still taking shape, a gathering of many parts of me. It’s rooted in everything I’ve done and everything I care about.

As I see it, we’re entering a new era.  Old systems and inherited ways of working are falling apart, not because we failed them, but because they were never built to hold us.

Starting this studio sits right at that crux. It’s not fully defined, and I don’t need it to be. I’m learning as I go, listening for what wants to emerge, shedding what no longer fits, and making space for what’s new and unfamiliar to take root.

It’s work that asks us to question the ways we were taught to perform, produce, and survive, and imagine something more true in its place.

If you’re here, reading this: may something in it resonate. May you feel seen. May you feel inspired. And may we keep learning from each other, in all the ways that matter.

Alyza.
